As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families, ensuring that appropriate interventions are implemented.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies to facilitate a holistic approach to early help.
  • Providing advice, support, and guidance to families, empowering them to develop their own solutions and improve their circumstances.
  • Ensuring that all case records are accurately maintained and up-to-date, adhering to local and national policies and procedures.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of integrated support plans.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., degree in social work or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly within early help or preventative services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
