Join the Central District Team in Oldham as a Children's Assistant Practitioner (AP) in the Qualified Social Work field. As a Children's AP, your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting qualified social workers in the assessment and planning of care for children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Engaging with children and families to gather information and provide support. Participating in multi-agency meetings to collaborate on care plans and interventions. Delivering direct support and interventions to children and their families, under the supervision of a qualified social worker.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant degree or qualification in social work or a related field. Experience working with children and families in a social care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
