Social Worker - Early Help - Liverpool City

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Early Help team in Liverpool City. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with families, children, and young people to provide essential support and interventions that promote well-being and safeguard vulnerable individuals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing support plans in collaboration with families, schools, and other agencies.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to families to empower them and enhance their resilience.
  • Monitoring progress and reviewing cases to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in working with children and families, particularly in early help or preventative services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities.
  • Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
