Social Worker - Early Help and Safeguarding HUB - Rochdale

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Early Help and Safeguarding HUB in Rochdale. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other agencies.
  • Providing direct support to families, including counseling and crisis intervention.
  • Working closely with schools, health services, and other community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and legal requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in working with children and families, particularly in safeguarding and early intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
