In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of qualified social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and interventions for children and families in need. As a Children's Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and supervising a team of social workers, providing guidance and support in case management. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and safeguarding regulations. Conducting regular team meetings and performance reviews to enhance team effectiveness. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to coordinate services and support for families. Developing and implementing service improvement initiatives based on feedback and performance data.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, with a proven record of leadership. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
