In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing care plans, and providing support to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
  • Engaging with children and families to provide support and guidance.
  • Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (degree or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England (or equivalent regulatory body).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Experience in working with children and families in a social work setting.
