As a Qualified Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and their families, promoting their well-being and safeguarding their welfare.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work qualification (e.g., degree in social work) and current registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with families and professionals.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about current legislation and best practices.
