Join our dedicated team at Achieving for Children as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. We are committed to improving the lives of children and families, and we are looking for an enthusiastic professional who shares our passion for making a positive impact. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure that children with disabilities receive the support they need to thrive.

As a Qualified Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other agencies. Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and their families, promoting their well-being and safeguarding their welfare. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, complying with legal and regulatory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant social work qualification (e.g., degree in social work) and current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with families and professionals. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about current legislation and best practices.
