We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Team within the D&A Team in Leeds. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies to provide high-quality support and intervention services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
  • Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
