As a Children's Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to implement safeguarding measures and interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Providing support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child safeguarding and child protection work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
