We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Telford on a competitive rate of £38 per hour (umbrella). This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of families in our community. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will lead and support social work practice, providing supervision and guidance to social workers while ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify risks and needs.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing expert advice and support to social workers, ensuring high-quality practice.
  • Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure ongoing support and safeguarding measures are effective.
  • Engaging with multi-agency partners to promote a coordinated approach to safeguarding.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
