To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, BA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a fostering or adoption context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
