The London Borough of Merton is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work Locality Team. As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice, support, and guidance to individuals, families, and carers to help them navigate complex social systems.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in adult social work, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and mental capacity legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
