Social Worker - Adults Locality - Gloucestershire
Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of adults in Gloucestershire? We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Adults Locality team, where you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and their families. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to promote wellbeing and independence among adults in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and circumstances.
- Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Providing guidance and support to clients in accessing services and resources.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with adults in a social work capacity, preferably within local authority settings.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
