Children's Deputy Manager - Coventry

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Deputy Manager to join our team in Coventry. In this pivotal role, you will support the management of a nurturing and safe environment for children, ensuring their emotional, physical, and educational needs are met. As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Manager to implement high-quality care standards and contribute to the overall development of our childcare services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day management of the children's care facility, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of educational programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Supervising and mentoring staff, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Engaging with parents and families to provide updates on their children's progress and address any concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a childcare setting, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and staff.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
