We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Assessment and Planning (AP) - Child in Care (CIC) Team in Coventry. This role is crucial in ensuring that vulnerable children receive the support and care they need to thrive. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to safeguard the welfare of children in care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and relevant professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the decision-making process regarding children’s care. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive parents to ensure the best outcomes for children.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children's social work, particularly within a CIC or assessment setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with children and families. Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professionals and agencies.
