Join our dedicated Locality Team in Essex as an Adult's Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults within our community. You will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions that promote independence and well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults’ needs and risks.
  • Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users and their families.
  • Providing support and guidance to individuals, helping them navigate social services and community resources.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and legislation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in adult social work, particularly within a locality team setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with service users and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
