We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Assessment team in Family Support & Safeguarding in Nottinghamshire. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. As a Social Worker, you will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide ongoing support to families in need. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved for the children and families we serve.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other agencies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Providing guidance and support to families, helping them access necessary resources.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection, family support, and safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
