Social Worker - Child Protection - Nottingham City

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Child Protection team in Nottingham City. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, and implement interventions that promote positive outcomes for children and their families, while adhering to statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate will possess a recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, effective problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding policies. Experience in child protection or a similar field will be highly regarded.
