Join our dedicated Children's TM - Family Help and Protection Team in Walsall, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting children and families in need. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing intervention plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services. You will work collaboratively with various agencies, families, and children to promote their welfare and protect them from harm.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing intervention plans in partnership with families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure coordinated support. Providing advice, support, and guidance to families and professionals. Engaging with children and young people to understand their views and experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
