Join our dedicated team in Bracknell as a Children's Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people. As an IRO, you will be responsible for ensuring that the needs and rights of children in care are met, providing advocacy, and promoting their welfare through effective reviews of their care plans. Your role is pivotal in fostering positive outcomes for vulnerable children and ensuring their voices are heard.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting regular reviews of care plans for children and young people in care. Facilitating meetings with children, families, and professionals to discuss care arrangements. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices in child welfare. Advocating for the rights and needs of children, ensuring their voices are central to decision-making. Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on case progress and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration. Extensive experience in children’s social work, particularly in the area of child protection and care. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload efficiently.

Join our dedicated team in Bracknell as an Adult Social Worker within the Community and Preventative Team for Learning Disabilities (CPTLD). This hybrid position, offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour, provides an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. You will work collaboratively with individuals, their families, and various stakeholders to assess needs, develop care plans, and deliver person-centered support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults with learning disabilities to identify their needs and preferences. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Providing advice and support to individuals and their families regarding available services and resources. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated service delivery. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with adults with learning disabilities in a social work capacity. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
