We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Family Help team in Cambs, specifically covering the Fenland/Wisbech area. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for a range of key duties, including:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing intervention plans to support families in crisis. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and families. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and students. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with regulations and standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families.
