Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Wiltshire, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children in need.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance service delivery.To be successful in this role, you must hold a recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should possess strong assessment and analytical skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Experience in child protection and safeguarding is essential, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
