Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to promote the welfare of children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload efficiently.
