Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Peterborough as a Children’s Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other stakeholders. Providing support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate and enhance service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.

As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
