As a member of our Leaving Care Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Providing high-quality assessments and support plans tailored to the needs of young people leaving care. Building trusting relationships with young people to encourage their participation in decision-making processes. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including local authorities, educational institutions, and community organizations, to secure necessary resources. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of care leavers, ensuring they have access to essential services and support. Advocating for the rights and needs of young people, promoting their voices in all aspects of their care.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with young people, particularly those in care or leaving care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
