We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner Adult Social Worker to join our dynamic team in East Sussex, offering a competitive rate of £40PH. This pivotal role involves working with vulnerable adults to assess their needs and provide support to enhance their well-being and independence. You will play a crucial part in safeguarding adults and ensuring they receive the appropriate services and interventions.
As a Senior Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and risks Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families Providing supervision and support to junior staff and social work students Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices in adult social care Engaging in multi-agency collaboration to deliver integrated servicesThe ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in adult social work Demonstrable knowledge of adult safeguarding, mental capacity, and community care legislation Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectivelyIn addition to a competitive hourly rate, we offer a supportive working environment with opportunities for professional development and training.
