Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Court Team in Northamptonshire, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and families involved in court proceedings, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, assessments, and reports that directly impact the lives of vulnerable children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Preparing and presenting evidence in court, advocating for children's best interests. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop integrated support plans. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families throughout the court process. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly within court settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent analytical and report-writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
