Join our dedicated Haverhill Social Care Team in Suffolk as a Children’s Social Worker (SSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring their needs are met through effective assessment, planning, and intervention. You'll work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to create a supportive environment that fosters child development and well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing intervention plans to support children and their families. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case discussions. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload.

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Child Protection/Children in Need (CP/CIN) Team in Haverhill, Suffolk. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Managing a caseload of complex cases, providing supervision and support to less experienced staff. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
