Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers, ensuring best practices are followed. Building strong relationships with families, communities, and partner agencies to facilitate effective service delivery. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and family support services. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
