We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's SW - Learning Disabilities Team in the beautiful region of Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, working collaboratively with service users, their families, and other professionals to promote independence and well-being.
As a Qualified Social Worker in our team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of individuals’ needs and developing personalized support plans. Providing ongoing support and guidance to service users and their families. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support. Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with learning disabilities. Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure they meet the evolving needs of service users.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with adults with learning disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
